Finding My Ear

The other day something strange happened.  I was playing away and learning how to grab things when all of a sudden I got hold of something warm.  I was holding on really hard, so hard in fact mommy said my knuckles where turning white, when all of a sudden I felt something strange.  Mommy said I was feeling pain, whatever that is, I just know she was trying to open my fingers and I didn't want to let go.  In the end mommy got my fingers open and all of a sudden the strange feeling went away.  I wonder what that means.
